Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 26, 2026. This pre-launch notice explains how NYAM collects and uses information submitted through this website. It should be reviewed by Canadian privacy counsel before full commercial launch.

What we collect

Depending on the form you choose, we may collect your name, email, phone number, city, restaurant/business information, delivery method, preferences, voluntary notes, consent choices, referral/UTM information, and technical anti-abuse data. We intentionally do not ask driver leads for identity documents, licence numbers, insurance documents, banking information, SINs, or payment-card information on this website.

Why we collect it

We use information to manage the NYAM launch waitlist, respond to restaurant and driver interest, understand geographic demand, plan operations, prevent spam/abuse, and—only where you opt in—send marketing or launch communications.

AI-assisted processing

NYAM may use automated AI tools to summarize and categorize non-sensitive form responses for launch planning and follow-up prioritization. Contact details are excluded from the AI prompt in the provided website implementation. AI-generated tags are internal aids only and are not intended to make eligibility, employment, credit, or other high-impact decisions.

Storage and service providers

The provided website architecture stores submissions in a Cloudflare D1 database and can use Cloudflare Workers AI for response enrichment. Data is processed through service providers used to operate the website. Production configuration, retention, access controls, and vendor terms should be reviewed before launch.

Consent and marketing

Submitting a form requires consent to collect and use information for that request. Marketing consent is separate and optional. If you opt in to commercial electronic messages, NYAM should maintain consent records and provide identification and an unsubscribe mechanism in future messages.

Retention and safeguards

NYAM should retain pre-launch leads only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purposes and establish a formal retention schedule before launch. Access should be limited to authorized personnel. The database, admin access, and deployment accounts should use strong authentication and least-privilege permissions.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of marketing consent. Until NYAM publishes its formal privacy contact details, use the launch website's contact channel or the privacy request process configured by the NYAM team. Withdrawal may not affect processing already lawfully completed.

Children

This launch signup is not directed to children under 13. NYAM should not knowingly collect information from children who cannot provide meaningful consent.

Changes

NYAM may update this notice as the platform, vendors, and legal requirements evolve. Material new uses of personal information should receive appropriate notice and consent where required.
